1. Introduction
At Chahal Academy Jaipur, we strive to provide exceptional educational services for UPSC/IAS exam preparation. This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which refunds may be requested for our courses and services. Please read this policy carefully before enrolling in any course.
2. General Refund Terms
2.1 Refund Window
- Refund requests must be submitted in writing within 7 days of enrollment date.
- No refunds will be processed after 15 days from the course commencement date.
- The enrollment date is considered the date when full payment is received.
2.2 Eligibility for Refund
- Students must not have accessed more than 20% of the course materials.
- Students must not have participated in more than 2 live sessions (if applicable).
- Refund requests must include a valid reason for discontinuation.
3. Refund Process
3.1 Request Submission
- Submit refund requests via email to jaipurchahalacademy@gmail.com  with "Refund Request" in the subject line.
- Include your full name, enrollment ID, course name, and reason for requesting a refund.
- Provide any supporting documentation if applicable (medical certificates, etc.).
3.2 Processing Timeline
- All refund requests will be acknowledged within 3 business days.
- Final decision on refund eligibility will be communicated within 7 business days.
- Approved refunds will be processed within 15 business days of approval.
3.3 Refund Amount
- A processing fee of 10% of the total course fee will be deducted from all refunds.
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
- For payments made via credit/debit card, refunds may take additional time to reflect in your account.
4. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will not be provided in the following circumstances:
- After accessing more than 20% of course materials
- After participating in more than 2 live sessions
- After 15 days from course commencement date
- For students who have violated the Academy's code of conduct
- For students who have received and utilized study materials
5. Special Circumstances
5.1 Medical Emergencies
In cases of medical emergencies with proper documentation:
- Students may request course suspension instead of refund
- The course can be resumed within 6 months without additional fees
- Documentation must be submitted within 7 days of the emergency
5.2 Course Cancellation by Academy
If Chahal Academy Jaipur cancels a course:
- Full refund will be provided
- Advance notice of at least 7 days will be given
- Students will have the option to transfer to another course
6. Transfer Policy
Instead of requesting a refund, students may:
- Transfer to another course within the same academic year (subject to availability)
- Transfer the enrollment to another person (with prior approval)
- Request a course extension (valid for up to 6 months)
